Our lists are only worth something if you can trust them. Here's exactly how they're made — and what we will and won't do.
Review signals
Rating, review volume and how recent they are — across Google, TripAdvisor and the island's community groups.
Verified on the ground
We're based on Koh Phangan. We visit, confirm details and shoot our own photos — no scraping, no guessing.
Freshness
Lists are re-checked and re-ranked regularly. Closures come off fast; new openings get in quickly.
Editorial judgement
Numbers don't catch everything. A human who knows the island makes the final call.
We never sell rankings. No business can pay to be #1, or to be on a list at all.
